SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT

Robotics

Robotics is now being offered to the STEM track. The subject involves technology dealing with design, construction and operation of robots. Students from Grade 11 created a prototype of a robot with Ms. Margarita Mantilla as their instructor.

Japanese or French?

In line with globalization and ASEAN integration batch of Grade 11 and 12 will be immersed to a new language aside from Filipino and English. Next school year, a proposed plan for Senior High is the offering of Japanese and French language classes. Students can choose from neither of the two. Kon’nichiwa or Bonjour?

ICT

The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) class of Grade 11, with Ms. Chloe Veloso as their teacher, recently held a film festival of short films they they themselves created. Two short films were created from ABM class and another two from the HUMSS/GA class as outputs of their lessons in basic filming, editing and scriptwriting. These short films were categorized as “silent films” as there was no dialogue involved. Nonetheless, these films were filled with emotion and character as each film interpreted how one can “Be Merciful like God to the Victims of Violence.” On the other hand, students from the STEM classes were also immersed in the software ProgeCAD (Computer-Aided Design). It is a software used for drafting and constructing different shapes and structures as well as basic programming.
